DESCRIPTION

Albergo Garisenda is a 2-star hotel located in the historic center of Bologna with a view of the Two Towers. The structure, with a classic and elegant style, is located on the third floor of a historic building and offers 7 single, double and triple rooms, some with private bathroom, others with shared bathroom. Family hospitality is combined with attentive service, with breakfast served in the common room with bar open all day. The Wi-Fi connection is free and it is possible to access the ZTL with a daily ticket.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The hotel is located in the historic center of Bologna, in the restricted traffic area, a minute's walk from the Two Towers Garisenda and Asinelli. The structure is accessed from the Galleria del Leone located on Via Rizzoli, less than 5 minutes on foot from the Quadrilatero and Piazza Maggiore, the Fountain of Neptune and the Basilica of San Petronio. The central station can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or by bus in about 10 minutes (stop a stone's throw from the hotel).

ROOMS

The 7 rooms are large and well-kept, with classic and comfortable furnishings. Single, double/twin and triple rooms are available, with private bathroom or shared bathroom on the floor (3 bedrooms), equipped with shower and hairdryer. All rooms are equipped with heating, free Wi-Fi, desk corner with satellite TV, sink. Some rooms have air conditioning.

SERVICES

The structure consists of a common room with TV and bar, reception with information service and left-luggage office. The Wi-Fi connection is free in all areas and a pass is available to access the ZTL with a daily rate. For those traveling by car, there are paid public car parks and garages nearby.

Disabled: The hotel is not wheelchair accessible as there are steps at the entrance.

FOOD

The Italian breakfast is served in the common room with bar and tables and includes various products, such as cereals, yoghurt and fruit juice. Excellent cafeteria service thanks to the presence of the internal bar.
