The Margherita Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic center of Bologna, a few minutes from Porta San Mamolo. The family-run property occupies the first and second floors of an early 20th-century Art Nouveau building. Renovated in 2012, it includes a common kitchen, a living room with reading corner and five bedrooms with period furnishings, which can also be rented for long periods. Nearby there is a paid public car park.
The Margherita Bed & Breakfast is located in Bologna, in the historic center near Porta San Mamolo and via D'Azeglio. It is a 10-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, 18 from the Two Towers, 15 from the Rizzoli Hospital and the Margherita Gardens. To reach the central station it takes 30 minutes on foot or 20 by bus which stops a few steps from the B&B. From the station, it is possible to use the Marconi Express shuttle which takes about ten minutes to G. Marconi airport.
The B&B consists of 5 bedrooms, two of which are doubles, one double with a French bed, one double with single beds and one triple with a double bed and a single bed. The two doubles and the triple have a private internal bathroom, while the others have a shared bathroom. All rooms, furnished with antique furniture, have Wi-Fi connection, LCD TV, air conditioning, heating and safe. In the bathrooms there are hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Four of the five bedrooms overlook the private garden. All the fixtures guarantee thermo-acoustic insulation.
The B&B is located in the restricted traffic area of the historic centre, but it is possible to leave your car in a guarded paid municipal car park nearby. Luggage storage is free. The kitchen and living room are available to guests, together with books and tourist guides of the city and the region.
Children: Free cots and rollaway beds are available in the room. Pets: small and medium-sized pets allowed without supplement, with kennels and bowls provided. Disabled: the building does not have a lift.
Breakfast is included in the price and includes a hot drink of your choice between tea, coffee, cappuccino and milk, as well as fruit juice, packaged brioches, rusks with butter and jam or chocolate spread in single portions, plain and cocoa biscuits in single portions and yoghurt of various flavours. On request you can also have cold cuts and cheeses with fresh bread, paying a supplement. The common kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher.
