DESCRIPTION

The Fortino Napoleonico is a 4-star hotel located in a seafront position in Portonovo. Housed inside a former 19th century military fortress of which it maintains the architectural structure, it offers refined rooms and suites including the exclusive Torrione a Mare Suite with large private terrace and bathroom with jacuzzi. It has a restaurant with typical Marche cuisine, a seasonal swimming pool, a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea and a garden with solarium and direct access to the beach. LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The hotel is located a few steps from the Portonovo Bay, in the province of Ancona, about 20 minutes by car from the capital's train station and 35 minutes from Ancona-Falconara airport. From the property it is possible to reach the Portonovo beach in about ten minutes on foot, while the free beach of Mezzavalle and the Church of Santa Maria are about 5 minutes away by car. The villages of Numana and Sirolo can be reached in about 20 minutes.

ROOMS

The rooms, with elegant classic furnishings, are divided into Classic Rooms, Superior Rooms, Junior Suites and Suites. All have air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe, electric kettle and private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and courtesy set. The suites are equipped, in addition, with a living area. The exclusive Torrione a Mare Suite, of 40 m2, stands out for the presence of a fireplace, canopy bed, Jacuzzi in the bathroom and private terrace with sea view.

Customers can make free use of the on-site parking where there is also a charging station for electric cars. The reception, open all day, offers luggage storage and concierge service. For a fee it is possible to request an airport transfer. BUSINESS

The structure has two rooms that can be used for meetings and various corporate events (Sala Marescialli and Sala dei Caminetti), the largest of which can accommodate up to 80 people. The panoramic terrace with sea view (surface area of 500 m2) is available for the organization of business lunches and dinners.

FOOD

The continental breakfast, included in the price, is served as a buffet in the most central and oldest part of the building, the Sala dei Caminetti. The restaurant, also housed in the same room during the winter, offers the possibility of eating on the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea in summer. The cuisine offers traditional Marche dishes accompanied by fine local and international wines. The bistro in the garden offers simple dishes for lunch and bar service with snacks, drinks and aperitifs.
