DESCRIPTION

The B&B Al Consolato, inaugurated in 2016, is located on the ground floor of a building located in the Porta al Prato residential area in Florence. The accommodation with a contemporary design offers 4 very different accommodations, luggage storage service and free Wi-Fi service. Ideal for business stays and weekend getaways.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The B&B is located in the elegant district of Porta al Prato, less than 5 minutes' walk from Parco delle Cascine. The Santa Maria Novella train station, the Fortezza da Basso Convention Center and Palazzo Strozzi are about a 15-minute walk from the hotel; it is possible to reach Ponte Vecchio with a 20-minute walk. The closest bus stop is Solferino, located a 1-minute walk from the hotel, where the C2 line takes you to the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella in 6 minutes and Piazza del Duomo in 12 minutes. The Amerigo Vespucci airport is less than 20 minutes away using the shuttle leaving from the Porta al Prato stop, a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

ROOMS

The bed and breakfast offers 4 double bedrooms, different in size and style of furniture. All featuring a modern design, the units inside offer free Wi-Fi, independent air conditioning, a safety deposit box, a work desk, a 32-inch LCD TV, a minibar and a kettle for tea and coffee. The private bathroom has a shower, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Guests are issued a badge to access the facility and room independently.

The B&B Al Consolato does not have parking, but offers a special price at a public car park in the immediate vicinity, for both cars and motorcycles. Luggage storage, free Wi-Fi and fax and photocopying services are available in the reception area.
