DESCRIPTION
La Casa del Garbo - Residenza d'Epoca is an elegant bed and breakfast housed in a 1200 building that overlooks Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, in the historic center of Florence. The B&B, accessible only by stairs, occupies the interior of a 13th century building which has been restored maintaining original elements such as the wrought iron railings and terracotta floors. Each room is furnished in a unique and original way, ideal for a couple or family stay. Guests can take advantage of the garage, airport transfer service, hairdresser and in-room massages.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The structure is located in Piazza della Signoria, in front of Palazzo Vecchio. The monuments and museums of the historic center can be reached in a few minutes' walk: the Uffizi Gallery is 2 minutes away, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Repubblica are 5 minutes away, while the Duomo can be reached in 7 minutes. Santa Maria Novella station is a 15-minute walk away, while the Amerigo Vespucci airport takes about 30 minutes by car.
ROOMS
The property offers spacious accommodations furnished in a classic Florentine style with pastel colored fabrics and ceilings with exposed beams. The accommodations, which can accommodate up to 5 people, consist of two Classic rooms, three Deluxe rooms, two Junior Suites, two Superior Suites and the Welcome Suite, an independent solution with an equipped kitchen. SERVICES
The B&B has an agreement with a paid garage in the area that will take care of entering the ZTL. The reception, open during limited hours, offers a luggage storage service and is available for booking tickets, guided tours and tours in Chianti. Among the paid extras it is possible to request the laundry service, the airport transfer with private car and hairdresser and masseur directly in the room. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
