The Residenza del Proconsolo is a b&b with a classic style, located in Florence in a fifteenth-century residence that still today keeps intact the typical elements of the historical period. What distinguishes the structure is its central position close to Piazza del Duomo, which allows a panoramic view of the rooms on the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Suitable for couples and families, the b&b is pet friendly.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

Its location in the historic center allows you to walk to all the major cultural attractions of Florence in just a few minutes. Piazza del Duomo is a couple of minutes away, while Piazza della Signoria, the Loggia dei Lanzi and the Uffizi Gallery can be reached in about 6 minutes on foot. A 10-minute walk connects the b&b to Santa Maria Novella station, passing through the church of the same name, while it takes about 20 minutes to reach the Boboli Gardens by crossing Ponte Vecchio.

ROOMS

The bed and breakfast offers 5 double and triple bedrooms, 2 of which are Standard and 3 Deluxe with a small panoramic balcony overlooking Piazza del Duomo. The rooms are welcoming, furnished with antique wooden furniture and featuring a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All rooms are accessible only by stairs and offer independent heating and air conditioning, TV, mini-bar and free Wi-Fi connection. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms.
