DESCRIPTION

Hotel Italia is a 3-star hotel in Siena, located a short distance from Porta Camollia, the northern entrance to the historic pedestrian centre. The structure is housed in a recently renovated building from the second half of the 20th century. It offers modern environments and services aimed at satisfying the needs of all guests, from families to sportsmen and couples on vacation. The hotel is AIC certified and pet friendly.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The hotel is located less than five minutes on foot from the Antiporto di Camollia which connects the area with the Siena railway station via escalators. Walking for about twenty minutes you can easily reach Piazza del Campo, the Medici Fortress and the Basilica of San Domenico, reachable by public transport in less than fifteen minutes (Cavour stop nearby).

ROOMS

All rooms offer air conditioning, minibar, safe, Wi-Fi, satellite TV with Sky, telephone, private bathroom with tub or shower, hairdryer and courtesy set. Rooms with balcony or terrace are available for a supplement. The Executive rooms are distinguished by the presence of more spacious showers, Ipod player and kettle; the Love Rooms, dedicated to lovers, provide for the presence in the room of a special Love Kit, coffee and tea maker, bottle of prosecco and love biscuits.

Entering the building, you are greeted in the modern hall decorated with Hollywood-themed prints: here there are sofas, a TV area, an Internet point, a small bookcase with magazines and a coffee corner with American coffee available free of charge 24 hours a day. With the help of the staff, it is possible to book excursions, restaurants and request a shuttle service.

Sport: small closed storage for bikes with kit for any repairs. Possibility of bike rental.
Swimming pool: outdoor swimming pool in the nearby hotel of the same property.
Pets: allowed; you can request (for a supplement) a pet kit with bowls, kennel and snacks.

FOOD

Breakfast at the Hotel Italia is served as a buffet in the dedicated room, with: sweet and savory specialities, hand-made cakes and biscuits; fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks. People who follow special diets or celiac customers (AIC certified facility) can request a special basket with gluten-free and vegan products.
