Hotel Minerva

DESCRIPTION

Hotel Minerva is a 3-star hotel located near the historic center of Siena, just outside the ZTL. Guests are welcomed in a 24-hour reception and can take advantage of a video-monitored parking for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Rooms with modern and elegant furnishings are available to accommodate up to 4 people, some of which have a view of the city's monuments. There is a business room and a panoramic garden where breakfast is served during the summer.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The hotel is located within the city walls of Siena, in an area outside the ZTL accessible by car. On foot it is possible to reach most of the most famous places in the city: Palazzo Salimbeni and the Sanctuary of Santa Caterina are 10 minutes away, the Torre del Mangia and Fonte Gaia 13 minutes, while the Duomo, the Civic Museum and Palazzo Pubblico can be reached in 15 minutes. The journey from the train station to the hotel is 13 minutes on foot or 7 minutes by bus.

ROOMS

There are 56 single, double, twin, triple and quadruple rooms. Available in Easy, Elegant, Superior and Junior Suites, they differ in the size of the spaces and in the presence of a small terrace overlooking the historic centre. Characterized by modern and simple furnishings, they have TV, air conditioning, safe, telephone, mini-bar and kettle. The bathroom, with shower cubicle, hairdryer and courtesy kit, is present in all rooms.

SERVICES

Guests arriving at the hotel by car or motorbike can park in the hotel's video-monitored garage accessible from reception via a corridor. The concierge service is available 24 hours a day, there is a lift, a left-luggage office and a relaxation room located next to the bar. The Wi-Fi connection covers all areas of the hotel including the panoramic garden overlooking the historic part of the city. On request it is possible to book a laundry and ironing service.

SPORT

Guests who need covered parking for their bikes can use the special room inside the garage and take advantage of a workshop corner for small repairs. A cycle tourism information service is available and, upon request, breakfasts are prepared for sportsmen and women, even served earlier. At the reception it is also possible to book excursions on horseback to be carried out in the Siena countryside.

BUSINESS

There is one meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 people. The room is illuminated with natural light and overlooks the ancient districts of Siena. It has a TV, projector, Wi-Fi and sound system and microphones.

FOOD

Guests are served a continental breakfast with hot and cold drinks. The buffet includes Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, pastry desserts, baked goods and fruit. Guests can request breakfast in their room and, during the summer, it is possible to have it in the garden. The hotel bar offers typical products of the Italian cafeteria and savory appetizers during the aperitif hour.
