The Certosa di Maggiano is a 4-star boutique hotel immersed in the Sienese countryside, housed in an ancient monastery dating back to 1316. Private parking, a swimming pool with solarium, two restaurants and a cocktail bar are available. It is possible to stay in rooms and suites of different types in the company of your pet.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The structure, surrounded by greenery, is about twenty minutes on foot from Porta Romana, the closest access to the historic center of Siena (reachable by car in less than 5 minutes). The train station is about ten minutes away by car, while the Crete Senesi are less than 20 minutes away. The neighboring towns, among the best known in the region, are all easily accessible by car.

The 18 accommodations inside La Certosa di Maggiano are distinguished by the originality of the decorations inspired by the 70s and by the vivacity of the colors used. All rooms overlook the gardens, safe, minibar, kettle, smart LCD TV, Wi-Fi, private bathroom with shower and courtesy set. The Prestige rooms are characterized by the presence of vintage tapestries; the Suites, of 40 square meters, for the presence of a sitting room; the Executive Suites for the size of the spaces and for the private balcony furnished with tables and chairs.

The structure is characterized by the presence of numerous common areas: garden, cloister with tables, a church that can be visited by appointment, a medieval chapel with art installations. While inside there are large decorated and welcoming lounges, a bookshop and a cocktail bar.
