DESCRIPTION

Astoria Hotel is a 3-star hotel in the historic center of Bologna, near the central station. It offers carefully furnished rooms and a quiet private courtyard with a wrought iron gazebo. Inside, it houses a reception that is always open with a bar, two meeting rooms and elegant and functional rooms that have recently been refurbished. The same property also manages numerous modern apartments, complete with every comfort, which are located nearby.

LOCATION AND TRANSPORT

The 3-star hotel is located in the historic center of Bologna, near the MAMbo museum of modern art, an 8-minute walk from the central station and 10 minutes from the Montagnola park and Via dell'Indipendenza, which hosts numerous shops and places of cultural interest. The property is located outside the ZTL area, so it can be easily reached by car. Those traveling by public transport will find stops for various bus lines in Piazza Dei Martiri, a 3-minute walk away. Bologna airport is 15 minutes away by car or with the Marconi Express shuttle leaving from the station.

ROOMS

The rooms are all soundproofed and equipped with independent air conditioning, beds with hypoallergenic and memory foam mattresses, safe, satellite TV, minibar, desk, direct dial telephone, free Wi-Fi connection and private bathroom with shower, courtesy set and hairdryer. Some have an exercise bike or treadmill, while others have a private balcony.

APARTMENTS

The hotel management offers stays in rooms and apartments of different sizes in various areas of the city. The Astoria Deluxe Rooms are more spacious rooms located in a building 200 meters from the hotel: they offer the same comforts as the rooms and, in addition, an equipped common kitchen.
The Astoria apartments are one-room or two-room apartments on two levels with a living area and an equipped kitchenette.
The new Astoria Boutique, Suite and Living Apartments are more spacious apartments offering refined design environments with equipped kitchen, private bathroom, large living area with satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.
In all solutions it is possible to take advantage of the breakfast service and garage at the Astoria Hotel, with a supplement.

SERVICES

The reception is open 24 hours a day with concierge service, which guarantees assistance for guided tours of the city. Attached to the reception, there is a bar which, during the warmer months, serves drinks and cocktails at the tables in the gazebo in the internal courtyard. The structure offers agreements with restaurants in the area that offer the delivery service.

Children: family rooms in which cots can be added. On request high chairs at breakfast.
Animals: are not allowed.
Disabled people: there are rooms suitable for disabled people with large bathrooms, which can be reached by lift.

SPORT

Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy free entry to a 24-hour gym in the immediate vicinity and those who wish can request to stay in a room with an exercise bike and treadmill. The hotel has free bicycles and an e-bike rental service.

BUSINESS

Astoria Hotel offers two meeting rooms of 18 and 30 square meters with capacity for up to 15-18 people. Both rooms are bright and equipped with a video projector and electric screen, a 42-inch TV with the possibility of connecting a PC, an overhead projector and a flipchart and transparencies for photocopiers. In addition, fax and photocopying services are available at the reception. In summer it is possible to organize meetings in the shade of the gazebo in the courtyard and set up tables for a coffee break or a buffet.

FOOD

Every morning a buffet full of sweet, savory and fruit products is set up in the room adjacent to the reception and, during the warm season, in the gazebo in the courtyard. Those with special dietary needs can request special products in advance.
